• R&D issues of CSRTI-Pampore, CSTRI-Bengaluru & CSGRC-Hosur and Review of Physical & Financial progress of the concerned CSB institutes
• Co-ordinate and conduct Annual Action Plan Meeting (CSB R&D institutes & Seed Organizations) and periodical review of progress vis-à-vis targets thereof
• Co-ordinate and conduct Mulberry Variety Authorization Committee (MVAC) and AICEM field trials of mulberry
• Co-ordinate issues related to Hybrid Authorization Committee (HAC) and Multi-location (Race Authorization) field trials of silkworms
• Co-ordinate and monitor the AICEM Phase-IV trials as PI and Socio-economic impact assessment project as CI
• Follow-up on MoT / VIP reference including Parliament questions pertaining to Mulberry and Post Cocoon Sector
• Monitoring and maintenance of e-tracking system (eSubMIS)
• Attending to the audit query replies pertaining to the R&D
• Attending to the correspondence related to seminars / conferences & procurement of scientific journals / books
• Attending to issues pertaining to Services offered by CSB/ fixation of testing charges etc
• To support organizing various meetings by RCS section
